Regional trade development
Emily Rogers directs EMARAS trade development in East and Southeast Asia, assessing where suppliers can meet the needs of international buyers.
She oversees counterparty qualification, the sequence of market-entry activity and supplier relationships intended to support repeat business.
Her assessments cover buyer requirements, acceptance criteria, production capacity, origin records and the cost of inconsistent performance.
She establishes milestones and release requirements so that new supplier relationships can progress into dependable export programmes.
Myanmar | Thilawa Origin Integrity Programme
For Ayar Meridian Agro's Thilawa Origin Integrity Programme, Rogers works on collection-centre participation and the preparation of black sesame lots that meet buyer requirements.
She sets supplier intake, source-identification and batch-segregation requirements against the agreed sale.
Each lot retains its origin and quality information through sampling, storage, packing and container loading.
She requires the quality records, physical consignment and export documents to describe the same goods.
Moisture, foreign-matter and traceability exceptions must have a responsible decision-maker and a resolution before shipment release.
EXPLORE THE MYANMAR PROJECT ↗︎Indonesia | Woven Cargo Assurance
For Aruna Woven Living's Woven Cargo Assurance programme, Rogers works with workshops to meet Gulf hospitality and retail delivery standards.
Four production workshops use a common product register, buyer-specific acceptance criteria and an agreed definition of a complete order.
Packing and consolidation plans protect rattan finishes and keep each customer's complementary items together during loading.
Order tracking identifies the SKU, workshop and buyer, allowing mismatches to be corrected before export.
Before release at Tanjung Priok, package counts, product condition and trade documents are checked against the goods loaded.

Across both programmes, Rogers develops supplier capability through reliable origin records, clear acceptance requirements and planned handovers.
Her focus is to build repeat business by preserving product quality and meeting the commitments made to buyers.
