Commercial brief
Siam Vantara Mobility had contracted to supply Thai-built sport utility vehicles and pickups to three Gulf importers. Vehicles left production at different times, while every roll-on/roll-off sailing had a fixed cut-off. Orders also differed by model, trim, colour and optional equipment.
Siam Vantara asked EMARAS to ensure that each vehicle, identified by its vehicle identification number, matched the correct customer order and entered the correct sailing in a documented condition. Laem Chabang Port, with established Ro-Ro facilities, was the maritime exit point.
EMARAS mandate and execution
VIN-level allocation. EMARAS translated importer orders into a vehicle-level allocation register. Each VIN was linked to model, trim, colour, options, buyer, destination and intended sailing. Production completion did not automatically mean that a vehicle was ready to fulfill a sales commitment.
Pre-port release gate. Before dispatch from the preparation facility, vehicle identity, equipment, documents and initial condition were checked. Units with unresolved discrepancies remained on an exception list. Their sailing slots could be reassigned to vehicles already approved against the same customer specification.
Condition and custody records. A common photographic and condition-report protocol covered release from preparation, receipt at the port compound and handover for loading. VIN, odometer, bodywork, glazing and accompanying items were recorded at each transfer point.
Four-sailing coordination. Loading lists were reconciled with buyer orders and export files before each Ro-Ro departure. Substitution was permitted only where the replacement matched the contracted configuration; filling vessel capacity did not take precedence over order integrity.
Importer data package and exceptions. For every sailing, EMARAS consolidated VIN lists, invoice details, vehicle specifications and transport information for the importing partners. Eleven discrepancies involving equipment, VIN records or vehicle condition were held and resolved before the affected vehicles re-entered the sailing plan.

Strategic outcome
Siam Vantara could trace each vehicle to its buyer, approved configuration, handover condition and sailing. The programme maintained consistency between the sales order, the vehicle dispatched and the documents supplied to the importing partner.
